Since 1988, Woodford Theatre has been a gathering place for Central Kentucky, where five MainStage and three educational productions each season bring our community together. This year, we’re celebrating a Season of Homecoming, a tribute to the spirit of belonging and shared experience that defines our theatre. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to bring quality live theatre to the region by connecting, uplifting, and celebrating our community through every performance, class, and event. We aim to create a space where volunteers, artists, community members, other theatres, and local businesses unite to make a lasting impact.

Our educational programs welcome students of all identities, opening doors for young artists to learn, grow, and discover the joy of storytelling.
